Who you contract with
Vuta is a preview marketplace for goods sourced from vendors in the UAE, China and Japan for buyers in Kenya. Before live trading, each offer and checkout must identify the legal seller, Vuta's contracting entity and the shipper's role. The legal names and allocation of sale, import and payment responsibilities are awaiting approval.
Eligibility and accounts
Buyers must give accurate contact and delivery details, keep sign-in codes private and use only accounts they are authorized to control. Vuta may restrict an account while investigating fraud, safety concerns or repeated misuse, with a review route described in the complaints policy. The age and guardian rules require a final decision.
Listings and order formation
Product descriptions, condition, origin, warranty territory and availability must be shown before purchase. A live checkout will display the final product amount in KES, the shipping estimate, the separate later shipping obligation and an opportunity to correct errors before accepting the order. An order is formed only at the approved checkout event and after any required payment verification; the exact legal formation point requires review. A saved preview transaction is never an order or a payment.
Product and shipping payments
The product price is paid at purchase. Shipping is estimated earlier and quoted after the item is weighed; a changed final shipping amount requires the buyer's acceptance of the new quote. Live payment methods, collection entity, customs treatment, quote expiry and the result of rejecting a final shipping quote must be set before these terms take effect. A browser success screen or payment screenshot is not proof of receipt.
Delivery, problems and refunds
The shipping and customs, returns and refunds, warranty, and complaints policies explain the proposed process. They require agreed deadlines, responsible parties and remedies. Nothing in these drafts removes rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to exclude.
Conduct and content
Buyers must not submit false payment evidence, abuse refunds, threaten participants, misuse another person's data or attempt to move a Vuta transaction outside its protected flow. Reports and account restrictions follow the marketplace rules and complaints process.
Changes and contact
Approved terms will carry an effective date and version. Material changes will be communicated through an agreed channel; terms accepted for a past order must remain retrievable. Contracting entity, address, support channel, governing law and dispute forum require legal review before publication.
