What a listing must disclose
Every live listing should state whether a manufacturer, vendor or Vuta warranty applies; its duration, territory, exclusions and claim channel; and whether service is available in Kenya. A general statement that an imported product has a manufacturer warranty does not establish Kenyan coverage.
Claim process
A buyer should be able to open an order-linked case and provide a description and relevant evidence. The responsible party must be identified, with clear steps for inspection, repair, replacement or another remedy. The complaint window, proof requirements, freight costs and response times remain undecided.
Imported goods
Voltage, plugs, radio standards, parts availability and regional warranty terms can differ. These details should be checked for the actual model and disclosed before purchase. Vuta must not infer that an international warranty applies in Kenya from a product title or vendor claim alone.
Legal rights
An approved warranty policy must preserve applicable consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract. The final text requires review once Vuta's seller/intermediary role and vendor obligations are settled.
