Working draft · Version draft-2026-10-24 · Not effective
Parties and services
The contracting entities, approved origin and destination routes, coverage, service levels and required permits must be documented before a shipper receives live assignments. The shipper may access only the order and buyer details needed for its assigned work.
Custody and evidence
The shipper should record collection, item and quantity checks, warehouse receipt, measurements, packing, dispatch, customs milestones, arrival and handover with reliable timestamps and supporting evidence. It must report discrepancies, damage, missing goods and delays promptly. The final agreement must define custody transfer and who bears each category of loss.
Charges and buyer approval
Rate revisions and measurement methods need Vuta approval. The final shipping charge must identify its basis and included services. A buyer's acceptance of a particular amount cannot authorize a changed amount or payee. External or cash collection, if permitted, requires an authorized collector, receipt and reconciliation process.
Procurement and funds
If the shipper also buys goods from vendors, the agreement must separate its procurement duties and funds from freight services. It must define invoice checks, permitted substitutions, beneficiary verification, limits, payout approval, reconciliation and recovery of mistaken payments. No automatic payout promise is made in this draft.
Privacy, safety and incidents
Buyer information and verification evidence must stay confidential and be used only for the assigned service. The shipper must follow the agreed import, safety, incident reporting and data handling requirements. Insurance, subcontracting permission, audit rights, disputes and termination need legal and commercial decisions.
