Estimate and final charge
The product price and shipping charge are separate. A pre-purchase shipping figure is an estimate based on stated weight and route. After receiving and measuring the item, the assigned shipper proposes a final KES charge with its included services and any separately payable amounts. The buyer must see and accept the exact charge version before a shipping payment is requested.
Customs and import responsibility
The importer of record, responsibility for declarations, duties, taxes, clearance documents and charges outside the accepted quote have not been agreed. The final terms must name the responsible party and show whether taxes, clearance and local delivery are included or excluded before payment. The Help page must not promise that all clearance is included until this is settled.
Routes, delays and damage
Delivery dates shown in a preview are illustrative. Live estimates should identify the service, origin, destination and material exclusions. Shipment milestones must come from recorded events. The final agreement must state what happens if an item is lost, damaged, delayed, rejected by customs, or cannot legally be imported, including who investigates and pays.
Collection and delivery
Pickup or local delivery options, receiver identity checks, delegated collection and proof of handover require operating rules. A pickup code shown in a preview is not a live release credential. The final terms must explain when risk transfers and what evidence establishes delivery.
Questioning a charge
Buyers should be able to question a final shipping charge before accepting it. Changing the amount or beneficiary invalidates the earlier acceptance. The cost and refund consequences of rejecting a quote after the product has already been purchased are unresolved and must be disclosed before live checkout.
